Luz Gonzalez, Program Director TSS
Hi, my name is Luz Gonzalez I am currently a Program Director at Gandara TSS. My journey here at Gandara has been amazing and I am so grateful to be a part of the Gándara family. My journey started years ago as a third shift recovery specialist. When I first applied I had no experience in the SUD field besides personal experience and wasn’t sure if this was what I wanted to do as a career. While being a recovery specialist I was able to learn more about Gándara and what there mission was. I was able to learn about the TSS level of care. I was able to learn more about the individuals we serve and witness their amazing progress. I knew then I wanted to be apart of this and it made me realize that this is what I would love to do as a career. Gandara gave me the opportunity to be able to go back to school and obtain my CADAC which then I was able to apply for a case manager position here at TSS. As a case manager, I was able to learn and attend training. I was able to meet so many different beautiful individuals in the community as well as helping guide our clients with their path in recovery and collaborate with them on achieving their goals. Now as a Program Director I am able to work with staff on their journey’s and continue to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all our clients. I continue to stay focus, passionate and positive. My note to self is always “When things feel overwhelming, remember:
