Therapeutic Training and Support - Fitchburg, MA

Working under the supervision of a clinician to support the implementation a treatment plan to assist the youth and the family in achieving the goals of the plan. Will teach the youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations and to assist the family to address the youth's emotional and mental health needs.  Review/development of a risk management/safety plan in collaboration with the youth and parent/caregiver. Work with Clinician to provide family therapy that may include working with the entire family, or a subset of the family, to implement focused, structural, strategic, or behavioral techniques, or evidenced-based interventions to enhance problem solving, limit setting, risk management/safety planning, communication, skill building to strengthen the family, and to advance therapeutic goals or improve ineffective patterns of interactions. Identification of community resources and development of natural supports for youth and parent/caregiver(s) to support and sustain achievement of the youth's treatment plan goals and objectives. 

 

Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field using a credential evaluation agency.   4 months of experience as a clinician, therapist or related.

Intensive Care Coordinator - Holyoke, MA

As part of the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) the Care Coordinator facilitates the process of Intensive Care Coordination (ICC) services.  Complete youth assessments that determine strengths, needs, and eligibility for the service. Further develops and facilitates Care Planning Team meetings as well as risk management/safety plans when appropriate.  Responsible for coordinating all team member information and meetings, while providing the team with necessary updates that ensure a unified approach in an effort to achieve the family prioritized vision and goal(s). Be comfortable with public speaking, be strengths based and be able to identify the individual and cultural issues relevant to understanding and supporting the needs of the youth and family.

In-Home Behavioral Therapist - Holyoke, MA

Work with predominantly Latino youth under 21 years of age with severe emotional disorders and their families in the home treating challenging behaviors that interfere with the youth's successful functioning. The In-Home Behavioral Therapist will implement a behavioral assessment and develop a highly specific behavioral treatment plan in order to diminish, extinguish, or improve specific behaviors related to the youth’s behavioral health conditions. Supervise and coordinate interventions and training to address specific behavioral objectives or performance goals, will complete Behavioral Health Assessments, outcome scales (e.g.: CANS), screening and other required documentation as needed including monthly and/or quarterly progress reports.  Develop therapeutic treatment plans for the duration of the intervention.  Provide direct clinical interventions to individuals and families. Maintain client records in compliance with program, Gándara Center and State regulations.  Work with kids in the Autism Spectrum and providing intervention using the ABA model.

In Home Therapy Clinician - Brockton, MA

Provide In-Home and community therapeutic services to children and families. Conduct intake interviews to evaluate mental health, create a treatment plan. Identify the clients problem and set treatment goals, recommend strategies for treating infantile and juvenile disorders. Implement techniques/therapeutic interventions. Keep notes of treatment and recommend changes on treatment plan. Run symptom-specific therapeutic interventions for functioning levels and/or diagnostic categories.
